HIPOLITO MAXIMA BALATBAT

HIPOLITO MAXIMA BALATBAT

Happily greeted by the “Welcome Committee” those who came this year
Incredible representations of special talents by the aunts and uncles
Poems about several family members described individuals’ personalities
Outstanding characters were discovered while playing some old games
Life is a forever joy most especially when the families have a great fun
Innocent little ones simply smiled and had a truly wonderful afternoon
Time was short, but it felt like a long time because of the atmosphere
Old and young showed their very best and special talents in singing

Mouth-watering food and sweet desserts satisfied the hungry stomachs
All families present prepared their favorite recipes for this occasion
Xmas was felt by the young children because of many attractive toys
Impressive are the looks of the youth whose beauty will last forever
Many souvenirs were shared to the clan that were mostly Easter kind
Applause and cheers to those who won the games and sang nice songs

Baskets of Easter eggs filled with surprises added joy to the gathering
Appetizing were the home-cooked foods that some were garden-raised
Lechon, oh how crispy, so delicious, so tender, so juicy, so good to eat!
Amazing were the performances of the children singing and dancing
The family trees that were constructed are so appealing and interesting
Beautiful young children looked so happy, content with ice-cream
All afternoon was spent caring, laughing, kissing, loving, and sharing
Together, the Balatbat clan enjoyed the annual event so heart-warming

WHAT RETIREMENT REALLY MEANS

WHAT RETIREMENT REALLY MEANS

Retirement means no more “sick calls.
Retirement means you can party anytime.
Retirement means you are your own boss.
Retirement means it’s an extended vacation.
Retirement means no more potlucks at work.
Retirement means you cannot be late for work.
Retirement means no more fighting with the traffic.
Retirement means you don’t have to pack your lunch.
Retirement means no more birthday parties of co-workers.
Retirement means no more getting up early in the morning.
Retirement means you can wake up anytime in the morning.
Retirement means you’ll miss out on “Study Day” at the Bradley library.
Retirement means you can fly like butterflies as happy and free as they can be                   everywhere they feel like flying over.

Enjoy your retirement with your happy family, friends, and relatives.                                             Do whenever and whatever time you may have in your hands.  Enjoy!!!
